  • Take a square of cloth and fold it into quarters.
  • Hold the "inside" corner of the square, pick it up and shake out the cloth.
  • Now tie the cloth in various places.
  • Dye it.
  • Optional - untie and repeat the operation for second and subsequent colours; tie in different places to ensure different colour combinations
